Another day, another new 3d printer on Kickstarter. Thingy Boat s key features are large(er) volume and sturdy aluminum frame that come at low price.
Thingy Bot technical specifications:
- The Thingy Bot has a 1.75mm hot end and can be used with PLA and ABS filament.
- The build volume is a little more than 8 x 8 x 8 (20,3 cm x 20,3 cm x 20,3 cm), and each printer will now include a PCB heated print bed
- The printer prints at a .1 mm layer height, meaning a 100 micron resolution. This is very high resolution. The nozzle on the hot end is .4mm.
- Aluminum frame
